What's trendi? Voting Kemdi! With 3 semesters of experience, an extroverted speaking personality, and multiple leadership positions, I promise to create an inclusive, interactive, and informed government where you'll always know what's trending in SGA.
I care deeply about our school and the student body, and I’m running because I want every student to feel heard, included, and truly represented. I believe that the best ideas come from students themselves, and I’m committed to listening to what you have to say and turning those ideas into real, meaningful change that actually improves our school experience. If elected, I want to help build a stronger and more connected school community where every voice matters, not just a few. My goal is to make sure students feel comfortable sharing their opinions and confident that those opinions will be taken seriously. I hope to work alongside others to create positive change that makes our school a better place for everyone.
I should be elected for the position of SGA Vice President due to my experience advocating for students during my time at ASMSA. I am easy to talk to, hardworking, and willing to fight for the voices of my peers to be heard. Students' concerns are my concerns and I will always ensure to bring attention to these concerns. ASMSA is built on a close-knit community, and in order to achieve this, students must be comfortable; this will be my first priority, if elected vice president.
As many of you know, I am dedicated to putting the unity back into the ASMSA community. I have extensive leadership experience in the communities I am a part of, including being selected as Co-Captain of the ASMSA Debate Team, serving as a junior representative for Second Floor Farris, being a member of the Hot Springs Youth Leadership program, and being a youth leader at the Interfaith Center of Little Rock. These positions have taught me how to navigate and respect others' differences, encourage positive behavior as a peer, plan and manage a large schedule, and keep people busy with activities.
I've been in SGA for 3 semesters. I want to help make a better bridge between students and the administration. I want to try to use up all of the club fund next year so every club gets what they need.
In most clubs I was treasurer, which is why I’m interested in finance. I was a representative the last 2 semesters for 2nd floor Farris, and I was an officer in several clubs from my sending school. My mother is an accountant, so I have a lot of basic financial knowledge. Alongside being elected treasurer in multiple clubs at Mayflower High School.
I am here for the benefit of the entire student body, and I am so honored to even have the ability to run for treasurer.
