As Parliamentarian, I would ensure that students voices are not just heard, but respected and used to change our community for the better. I am well versed in parliamentary procedure and I am no stranger to leadership. I was a junior representative first semester, I will be treasurer of debate club next year, and a student ambassador. Within these roles i have already experienced being a part of a team and working with others to lead a group. Most of all: I follow the rules, I help and teach others wherever I can, and I constantly volunteer around campus, making sure to be kind and respectful to all. If elected, I promise to put our schools community, its members and our collective success, above all else.
I believe I am a reliable and responsible person who is easy to talk too. Additionally, I am great at effectively communicating and resolving conflicts efficiently. If elected as parliamentarian, I wish to create a space where everybody feels comfortable enough to freely speak their mind without feeling judged or belittled.
Parliamentarian Procedure Exam Scores:
Collin Green: 45/50

As many of you know, I am dedicated to restoring unity to the ASMSA community. I have extensive leadership experience in the communities, including ASMSA. I was selected as Co-Captain of the ASMSA Debate Team, am a junior representative for Second Floor Farris, studied as a member of the Hot Springs Youth Leadership program, and am a youth leader at the Interfaith Center of Little Rock. These positions have taught me how to navigate and respect others' differences, encourage positive behavior among peers, plan and manage a large schedule, and keep people busy with activities.
I think some of my greatest strengths lie in my social awareness and reach. As chair of event committee, I loved collaborating to create and promote events. I strive to promote social engagement and mental health and these are a few of the things I wish to improve if voted as secretary.
To start off, I’ve been in SGA for all 4 semesters I’ve attended ASMSA. I’ve learned so much about the ASMSA community and also what I can do to help! A couple of my strengths are being able to fluidly communicate, being outgoing, and being fairly approachable. I am also a great listener. I have set several goals for myself to accomplish next year, which is to make the weekly wave system more efficient—great system already; it just needs a little more tweaking. I plan to have more SGA held events during the weekdays to improve attendance and club fund, last but not least, I will allow for more transparency by inputting an additional segment for general assemblies in The Weekly Wave script and will be sending out The Weekly Wave videos via email.
