Welcome to the Weekly Wave, your headquarters for student-led news coverage at ASMSA. Here we will be reporting all ASMSA student news. From club events to school break countdowns, we've got you covered! Tune in each Sunday night to ride the weekly wave!

Newscast Roles

Anchor

Coordinate with tech and practice scripts to present news on camera (2 students per episode)

Editor

Collect weekly footage from tech and compile, cut, and add graphics to produce each episode (1 student per episode)

Tech

Coordinate with anchors and manage cameras, audio, lighting, and backgrounds during production (1-2 students per episode)

Scriptwriter

Stay updated on school events, achievements, breaks, and announcements, and write scripts for anchors (1 student per episode)

Weather Forecaster

Track weather conditions and present a forecast for the week ahead (1 student per episode)
