Student Affairs
The Student Affairs Committee is to serve as a liaison between ASMSA students and Administration. It is the responsibility of the Student Affairs Committee to review and revise any documents composed for or by the Student Government Association in order to determine the constitutionality of any proposed legislation.

Food Service
The Food Service Committee works in cooperation with the food service in place to adequately monitor and improve the food being served at ASMSA. Its members work with cafeteria staff in order to bridge the gap between the students and food service providers. The Committee assesses the feedback of students and look for ways to improve the food served.

Student Wellness
The Student Wellness Committee is to raise awareness for the overall health of the Student Body by providing resources to reduce academic and residential stress and implement programs that will improve the health of the student body. The mental health of the student body shall also be addressed by the student body. They shall consult with the Nurse and the Mental Health Counselor.

Activities
The purpose of the Activities Committee is to plan activities designed to raise funds for the Student Government Association and provide recreational activities for the student body. The Activities Committee shall be chaired by the SGA Publicist. This committee will consist of members of the student body as well as elected representatives.

Finance
The Finance Committee is responsible for a non-specified amount of money from the SGA Assessment on the Student Body. The committee is to allocate funding to clubs and organizations recognized by ASMSA. The Finance Committee shall be chaired by the SGA Treasurer. The composition of the committee is to contain one member from each of the other policy committees and may change with each new committee adopted by the General Assembly.

Student Handbook
While not an official committee of the General Assembly, the Student Handbook Committee is in charge of adopting the Amendments to the Student Handbook for the subsequent school year.
